Manhattan Lights 8-Piece Bed-in-a-Bag with Reversible Comforter & Sheet Set

The Manhattan Lights 8-Piece Bed-in-a-Bag with Reversible Comforter & Sheet Set, are of very poor quality.  The thread count looks to be 150 or 200.   Cheap Wal-mart kind of sheets.  I bought a California King because they were sold out of the king.  I am glad they were because the California King hardly fits on my bed.  The King size would have been to small for my king size bed.  
The pictures look great on the internet, makes you think you are getting an awesome deal.  This bed in a bag is normally $199.99 but you can get it for $34.99 and free shipping.  This set is maybe only worth $35 shipped.  It is very poor quality! 

The comforter stained my washer and dryer, the color faded so bad I have light brown and dark brown parts of my comforter.  The red dye bleeds, my son has some pants he was wearing when on my bed that now has red/pink spots on them.  I didn't even get the sheets out.  Maybe I would use them if all the sheets in my house magically are destroyed and these were the only sheets I have, but these things are so bad I can see through them and feel hard.
If you have never felt sheets over 300 thread count then you may like these, but I doubt it.

Not a good buy, I wouldn't recommend wasting any money on this crap.  Go to Wal-mart and pick out a nice bed in a bag if you are thinking about these crappy things.  At least you can make a decision based what is real instead of a bunch of hype.   You are getting just what you pay for with these sheets.

I bought a case because I love this salsa so much.











 After years of missing my favorite salsa I went to a boat show just to make sure it still tasted the same before buying some.
I was happy to find out that yes it did still taste as good as it ever did and they added some new flavors.
I would drive one hour one way to buy this salsa when they were in Columbus, Ohio.  They moved and I waited.  To let you know how much I love this salsa, we drove over an hour to get there. We paid $10 for parking and $16 to get into a boat show, to make sure it was still as great as I remembered.   I had no plans or desire to go to this boat show.  I only went to find this salsa again.   I bought a case of the salsa.  I'm very happy I have my salsa back. :)

 I thought this was good.  It didn't have an over powering taste of garlic or Olives.

This was a mild salsa.  I thought it was very tasty.    I wanted to get a salsa that I don't normally get.  Love the fact it has beans so I can get a little protein with my salsa. :)

The family liked this one.  It is a sweet salsa.  Others could taste the cherry but I thought it was mild on the cherry taste.

I really liked this one.  It has a stronger strawberry flavor.  I was thinking eating it with chicken and rice or just eating it alone.   I didn't think I would like it but I really did. 

My son loves Pineapple salsa, so I just had to buy this one.  I thought it was a good tasting salsa.  Not as sweet as the strawberry salsa.   I do not think the pineapple was over powering either. 

I really liked this one.   It also doesn't have an over powering taste of  raspberry.  It has the great flavor of the Raspberry BBQ Chipotle but none of the heat that comes along with it.

I LOVE this one.  It is my favorite.  I eat it with chips or poured over cream cheese with crackers.   I have heard of others cooking chicken with this.   I like it best cold or room temperature, so the chicken didn't sit well with me. 
You can taste the smoke flavor in the chipotle.

To much surprise my son loved this.  It does have a kick to it but  I didn't think to bad.   My son is 9 and he made sure I bought one of these.
You can also taste the smokey flavor in this one too. 

I personally didn't care to much for this one but my son LOVED it.  He also made sure I bought this one.   I think I just don't like tomato and chocolate.  I cant explain what it tasted like.  It wasn't bad I just didn't really like it.  I can't put my finger on why. 












I wanted to show some of the ingredients of the products.   I love that I can say every product that is in the salsa!
They have many other salsas I didn't buy.  They have 19 on their web site including the ones I bought.   I would say if you live in the USA and want to try a new salsa I recommend this one.

I normally do not recommend a product this much but I really do like this product.  I met the president of the company today and he was a very nice person.   It is nice to find a company with a good product and the president not only is nice but works the shows also.

99 Apples (Alcohol)

I bought 99 Apples because I wanted to make an Appletini, but I didn't want the wimpy Apple Pucker.   I have an above average alcohol tolerance I think.
99 Apples is 99 Prof.  It has a nice apple taste in a drink.  DO NOT think you will take a shot of this and it will taste good.  It taste like finger nail polish remover.  It is awful alone. 
If you mix 99 Apples with Peach Mango Koolaid it is wonderful.  Be very careful, this is 99 prof and you cant taste the alcohol when you make this.  
We took the Koolaid used the 2 quart measurement lid and about 4 cups or a little more of water,  I do several shots of the apples.   I honestly don't know I just pour the bottle until it looks to me it is enough not to freeze.  
The average person should maybe only do 3 shots, this does make a few Margareta glasses.   You place the container in the freezer for a few hours.  Using more alcohol means it can stay in the freezer longer without becoming a Popsicle.   You should have a slush when you are done.

The 99 Apples is a good mixer for any drink that is fruity.   99 Apples is my favorite of the 99 family.  The others I do not care for that much.  The 99 Berry and 99 Banana I personally would recommend staying away from.  I didn't like them at all.

XBox Kinect UFC Trainer

I just played this game and all I can say is it isn't fun.
You need a lot of room to use this game and the Kinect had a very hard time reading what I was doing.  This was very frustrating.   To top that off the guy yells at you telling you "That is no good" and "That's not good enough".  That would be fine if I wasn't busting my but doing what the game says to do only the game isn't reading me.
Some things are just not able to stack up to a real person and this game is one of them.  I real person could have seen I was doing what I was being told to do and wouldn't yell at me that I didn't do anything.
This game was no motivating at all.  If anything this game would have made me stop trying to work out.
I will try the game again to see what other activities it has but my opinion is very low that this game will have anything else that will keep me interested.  I fear of more the same, Needing a lot of room and the Kinect not being able to read me.

This gets a thumbs down from me.  I'm glad I only spent $10 for it the day after Thanksgiving. 

As for working out I'm going to stick to my dancing games. 

Shoes from Shoe Dazzle

I bought 2 pair of boots.
All I can say is you get what you pay for with this company.
I can find better made boots on the discount rack at a department store.
I would say from the looks of the boots they were put together buy children working in a sweat shop.
I love the look of the red boots I got from far away but when you get close you can see the glue and the cheap material. The person that made the boots I bought didn't care about the quality they put into them.

You can not return items or exchange items from Shoe Dazzle so what you get is what you are stuck with. 
It is a must, if you shop from them, you read the review of others regarding the ones you are looking at.  You will see if the shoe runs true to size or is to big/small from others post.  I'm glad I did because I bought a 7 in one and a 7 1/2 in the other and they both fit fine.   I'm a 6 1/2 to 7 in shoes.

Grip Case

I have a son that is clumsy to say the least.   I bought this case for him to protect the very large investment of the IPad.
I looked at many other protectors like IGuy and others.  But, IGuy looked to stretch where the IPad could fall out and having a heavy base didn't seem very good for being held in a way to make the IPad taller instead of wider.  The other cases didn't have handles which is what I wanted.  I needed something for him to grab and hold onto.

The Grip Case has all 4 sides as handles.  I not sure what the material is it is made out of but I could describe it as between a rubber and a foam.  It is harder than foam but softer than rubber.  It has been dropped a few times and my son hit it against a chair once.  The IPad has stayed protected every time.
I watch my son all the time when he has the IPad so I do not give many ways for this to need protected.   I feel that the item would probably be fine without me but I know how boys get and no matter what protector you buy they can only do so much.


All of the openings were fine.  I haven't had any issues or hardships trying to plug anything in.

I was skeptical at first on how well the IPad would stay in the case with being held by handles but we have had it for several months now and the case only bends at the handles, nothing holding the IPad moves.

I would give this a 5 star rating, I think it is a very good product.

The Dead Sea

I bought the Dead Sea's Mineral Touch foot cream.
I like this product so far.   I have seen a difference in the softness of my feet.  I have also used this product on my arms and legs because I suffer from very dry skin in the winter.   Most of my dry skin has went away and my feet are a lot softer than they were before using it.
I have used about every kind of lotion on the market.  All of them either do not work, are to oily feeling, or get sticky.
This does feel a little sticky at first but then soaks in after you rub it in really well.  
I haven't had any bad reactions from this lotion.  That was my biggest fear.

I also bought the Dead Sea Mineral Night Cream and anti aging serum.  I have used these.  I haven't seen an overwhelming result like with the foot cream.  I think the most I can say about it is that my face looks to have a more even skin tone.  I haven't noticed wrinkles going away or pore getting smaller.

All in all I like these products.  
I found them in a discount store where all products go go die, I'm sorry to say.   I will be returning to the store to buy some more of the foot cream, I hope they still have some left.

Dance Central 1, 2, & 3

I have all 3 Dance Centrals for the Xbox.   I love dancing and picked the first one up because I like the way the players looked. 
I have played other dance games on the Xbox and Wii but this I must confess is my favorite of all. 
I can pick my favorite character to play with.  In other games you get this crazy looking neon person that you cant pick if you want to be them or not.
I can say I really enjoy the 3rd Dance Central because not only can you dance as part of the game there is a story mode.  2 hours flew past last night as I danced my way through the levels of the game.   I bought all the dancing games to help me lose weight.  I think this game is going to be a great asset for me.  I get bored rather easily with workouts and this really made the dancing interactive and engaging.
Some of the moves are difficult, but others were fun.   Doing some of the dances took me back in my mind of when I did them as a teen.   And others I had never seen before and loved trying to learn.
I've only been doing the easy mode.  I'm happy there are 3 levels so when this isn't hard for me anymore I can step it up and learn some more moves. :)

If any of you decide to get this game I hope you love it as much as I do.  I love all 3 of them but like I said I think the story mode is a great idea in the 3rd one.
